Cohen and Karl: Where are our morning treats?!

Cohen patiently waiting for another piece of watermelon.

Karl not patiently waiting for another piece of watermelon.

Poor old Engels is moving more slowly now in the mornings; I can see the signs of old age. But he still loves watermelon

Darwin, the new boy, is still nervous of his new place and is still reluctant to take food from my hand but he still got watermelon.

Your guys are so adorable. I can so relate to the patience and not patience in the morning with my boys getting their treats. They are so into having a pattern in their lives.
That is what I call A Good Life. These old fellows certainly enjoy their lifes as members of The Rattie Crew. It is so good to see them like this.
Here it is just the same in the morning. Before I get any breakfast myself, the rattie boys get their morning treats.
The way it should be, in their opinion ;)

This is the best kind of post! I love the fat, happy boys eagerly waiting for a favorite treat. Many good wishes to you and your crew this holiday season!
What an amazing blog! Ever since I was 8 I had pet rats. My best companions were often the rescue rats. :) And the best of them all were Blues and Knuckles.
Blues would great me every day by running out of his cage and curling in my lap. While Knuckles would lick my neck and fall asleep.
Rats are amazing pets.
But unfortunately I cannot have them right now due to an allergy I formed to them.
Seems as though "creepy crawlies" are misunderstood all around. My leopard gecko is only loved by my sibling, the rest of my family are either indifferent or dislike him. They had similar moods to my rats. But they're just missing out. ;)
I will be following!
