My little fellow appears to be doing well living alone. Rats are very social creatures so I do worry about Cohen. But he has always been my independent boy and rather aloof. When I do take him out he's not interested in me at all, just exploring his surroundings. Also, unlike my other rats he's not a cuddly squishy rat. So, maybe he'll be fine. I hope so.

I love your updates on the rats --and your rat advocacy. Hope all is well with you (and so sorry for all your losses).
I'm glad Cohen is doing ok by himself. He seems like an independent little guy. :)
My daughter's rat, Emerson, looks just like Cohen! He is a blue split capped dumco earred. It was hard to tell from this pic what ear type Cohen has....but he is a handsome little devil! :)
