From Remi: Mum has had a very busy month with work! She has neglected our blog and reading our favourite blogs! Nevertheless, here's a a few updates:
Mum's new babies, Chloe and Coco have joined the Rattie Crew, but they are in their own cage for now. Here are some pictures of them when they were very tiny rittens and when they were a bit older. New pictures will come as soon as mum borrows a camera (mum is having trouble with hers). The babies are adorable and so playful! On a side note, those are not mum's lovely nails in the pictures LOL

Mom fostered a rat for a couple of weeks named Lunar. This is his sad story: He was bought by a girl who eventually became bored of him (we can't imagine people being bored of rats!) and tried to give him away. Eventually, a home was found for him but before the new mom was to pick him up, the girl's mom dumps him at a pet store to be sold as snake food. Upon finding this out, our mom went over to the pet store and picked him up. According to mom he was a very sweet loving boy. Anyway, Lunar did make it to his forever home and is now very happy.

Mom was also away for a week house-sitting and dog-sitting but she did bring us all. Mum had a wonderful time with the dog Ginger and was able to escape the city as the house was in the countryside. After dog sitting, Ginger, mom really wants a dog but she assures us that we are here to stay and we will not be replaced!

Now, I saved the best story for last - it's my Birthday! I turned two years old. Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me! Of course mum served us her yummy birthday fruit smoothie which we always enjoy.

However, we have some very sad news to share. Oliver has passed away. Oliver was struggling with the dreaded
mycoplasmosis for some time and despite all the available treatments he succumbed to it. Before mum adopted Oliver he was found in a box, along with his sisters, at the local park and mum agreed to foster them. Eventually, mum was charmed by Oliver and she adopted him. Oliver was very timid with strangers but was certainly a mommy's boy. Although he was only with us for 2 1/2 years he will be missed. We remember that he was best of friend's with Byron (see below) and they are probably now playing together at Rainbow Bridge.
