Sad News...

My squishy cuddly boy Remi passed away on Wednesday. It was so unexpected; the vet believed it was a pituitary tumour. I adopted Remi from a rat rescue when he was about 8 months old. He had been abandoned by a family who became bored of him and had kept him a terrible hamster cage. But, he turned out to be the sweetest little guy who loved all people. Remi was just 2 years old. He will be deeply missed.

What a shock. It must have happened so quickly! I really hope there was no suffering involved. He was such a sweet rat! Our deepest sympathies to you Linda, and the furkids.

I am so so sorry to hear about Remi. It is so hard when it's unexpected. My Spice passed away in Dec from a pituitary tumor as well. :( Remi was such a handsome boy, I know you will miss him.

It is always sad to lose a rattie, but Remi was very lucky to find a home with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I just lost one yesterday as well. It is so heartbreaking. You get so attached to these little guys and pour your heart into them... then their short lifespan catches up and blindsides you. Mine had a stroke last night, it's such a sad thing to see them go.
