Coco and Chloe

We are growing rather quickly and soon we'll grow out of our baby cage so mum has started to introduce us to the big rats. Raven is curious and tolerates us being around her but Emma and Poe are far from being impressed! They puff and snort themselves into a frenzy! Obviously Emma and Poe do not appreciate our undeniable cuteness!

Mum thinks we are very rambunctious and never sit still long enough for pictures (hence the poor picture quality). Mum says she is thankful for a digital camera because of all the pictures she has had to erase. We are too busy exploring for pictures! We are also very messy, so we've been told, because we spread our food and bedding everywhere. Of course, mum says we are still adorable besides the mess.

What inquisitive cuties! I'm sure the older ones will come around and be a bit nicer. =)

Wow your rats sound adorable!! Could I possibly use some of your pictures for my new site Rat Info ? If so could you post them on the Rat Forum to let me know I have consent? I would love to add them to out Cute Rat Pictures page!!!

There are also some really awesome Homemade Rat Toys tutorials if you wanted to make some super easy toys for your ratties.

You are such cuties! Soon the elder rats will come to their senses, we're sure.

Sorry our Mom hasn't been keeping up her blog lately (a shame indeed). Our Roos (Rose) is about your age and what a shameless child she is! But we have learned to accept her (and her young mom Gill).
So, Chloe and Coco, listen to our advice: always be respectful to elder rats!! Then things will soon be allright ;0)

Oh my goodness! Look how adorable you two are! You're only young once, so your mom will just have to deal with fuzzy pictures until you grow up. ;)

Yes, there are three new little girls here, but they refuse to socialize or even sit in Mom's hand yet, so she is working on that with them. In the meantime, the new bunny is doing quite well. You girls are furry cute. ~The Fluffy Tribe

Very Cute Little ratties! I actually have a personal question and than a factual question. 1. Do you think it would be normal if I put my Nymphy with Chiaroscuro? The thing is he's a he and she's a she and neither one have ever been "fixed" before. But she is 3 and 8 months and female rats stop being fertile at 15 months so.... What do you think, would it work? 2. Do you think my rats look happy and healthy? Sometimes I see those rats in the books or at shows and they always look so shiny and perfect and I always wonder is its just the photographer or if mine should look better. What do you think?
